Volvo Rents’ successful Louisiana franchise has opened its fourth location in the state. Owners Paul and Penny Bullock opened a new facility in Baton Rouge. The Bullocks opened their first Volvo Rents franchise in West Monroe, La., in 2003, added Alexandria, La., in 2004 and Bossier City, La., in 2007.
The Bullocks were named Volvo Rents’ Franchise of the Year for three consecutive years.
“In Baton Rouge, we continue to expand our rental fleet and service to meet our customers’ needs,” said Paul Bullock. “It was a natural progression of our growth.”
Volvo Rents also established a franchise in Oklahoma City, owned and operated by Max Weldon, David Evans and David Darby.
“We see this as a great opportunity to bring the Volvo name to the state,” said Evans. “Volvo has a strong, well-recognized brand. With our new store, we have the best of both worlds: being a locally owned business, we have the ability to respond quickly to our customer’s needs, and we have the global support of an equipment name you can trust and rely on.”
Volvo Rents, No. 19 on the RER 100, has 79 rental centers in North America, 89 in Europe, three in India and one in Mexico.
