Chicago Rents to Re-Rent Large Boomlifts

Chicago-based Chicago Industrial, a wholesaler of mostly aerial equipment, has formed Chicago Rents, which will focus on the wholesale re-rental of large boomlifts to regional and national aerial rental companies. Justin Cyrnek, president of Chicago Industrial, said the formation of Chicago Rents was a natural development, leveraging Chicago Industrial’s many strong relationships with aerial rental companies.

Chris Brown, who is heading up the Chicago Rents division, said the company is primarily offering 135- and 150-foot boomlifts and has about 60 units in its fleet. “We’ve got units on rent as far away as Alaska, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Newfoundland,” Brown told RER. Brown said the company will soon be adding a significant number of new machines to its re-rental fleet.
