Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. this week installed a solar electric system in Commerce City, Colo. In the coming months HERC plans to install solar panels in Tucson, Ariz.; Augusta, Ga.; Bogart, Ga.; Norcross, Ga.; Boston, Baltimore, Newark, N.J.; and Harrisburg, Pa.
The project is part of Hertz Corp.’s initiative to install solar electric systems across the United States. The company plans 16 installations this year.
Based in Park Ridge, N.J., HERC is No. 4 on the RER 100.
