Italy’s Mollo Group Grows Rental Presence in Emilia-Romagna by Acquiring Ruini Marco Group
Mollo Group, a rental company based in Alba, Italy, is strengthening its presence in Emilia-Romagna through a strategic partnership agreement with the Ruini Marco Group, a leading regional player in the rental and sale of machinery and equipment for lifting, material handling, transport, construction, landscaping, and worksite operations.
The partnership entails Mollo Group acquiring a majority stake in Ruini Marco Group.
The transaction brings into the Mollo fold a company with more than 40 years of experience, deeply rooted in the local area and having grown over time through the progressive evolution of its product and service offerings.
A key element of the agreement is the retention of Ruini’s current management team in their respective roles, alongside the maintenance of the company’s operational autonomy.
"The addition of Ruini Srl to Mollo Group marks a significant milestone in our growth journey and further strengthens our presence in Emilia-Romagna," said Mauro Mollo, president of Mollo Group, which he leads alongside his brother Roberto. "Over more than 40 years of business, Ruini has built expertise, relationships, and deep local knowledge, while simultaneously developing a highly comprehensive range of offerings. We recognize many of the values that have driven our own growth in these characteristics. Our goal is to grow together, creating new synergies and continuing to provide our customers with proximity, expertise, and an increasingly comprehensive, high-quality service."
“After more than 40 years of our company’s history, we have chosen to embark on this journey with Mollo because we share their industrial vision and the commitment to service quality that has always distinguished Ruini Marco Group,” said Marco Ruini. “Joining a group of this scale allows us to offer our customers an even wider range of solutions while maintaining strong ties to the local area and the people who have built this journey alongside us. I will continue to support the company on its path forward, ensuring the operational and management continuity that our customers and employees expect. I am convinced that this move represents a significant growth opportunity for both the company and all our employees.”
