Rental a Growing Factor in Brazilian Construction Scene, New Report Says

The construction equipment market in Brazil will grow at a CAGR of 15.1 percent from 2012-2016, according to Construction Equipment Market in Brazil 2012-2016, a new report produced by Research and Markets. One of the key factors contributing to the market growth, the report says, is the need to reduce infrastructure construction time. Also, the construction equipment market has been increasing in its adoption of rental, the report says.

However, the increased cost of construction equipment could be challenging to the growth of the Brazilian market, the report contends.

The key vendors in Brazil include Caterpillar, CNH Global, JCB, JLG, Komatsu and Volvo. Bobcat, Dynapac, Liebherr and Sany are also major players.
