Product: Genie Lift Tools Access Deck

Manufacturer: Terex AWP

Key Innovation: Innovative accessory for safe work at height.

Manufacturer’s Description:

The new Genie Lift Tools Access Deck for Z articulating booms, S telescopic booms and GS-1930 scissor lifts provides operators with a secondary surface to work from, elevating them 22 inches (0.56 m) above the platform floor. Attached to the platform rails, this additional access solution enables operators to get into restricted spaces safely and increases productivity.

“Aerial jobsites often require access into space-restrictive areas to carry out work,” says Marie Engstrom, Genie product manager, Terex AWP. “Often, a MEWP's platform is too large to access these areas, and this limitation can result in operators not being able to access their work. The Genie Lift Tools Access Deck provides operators with a secondary surface to work from, enabling them to access restricted spaces safely to increase productively working at height.”

Rated for both indoor and outdoor use and engineered with non-slip decking on a wide, stable surface for use at height, this accessory is ideal for use in HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and welding applications, as well as between rafters or other structures at height.

Genie Lift Tools Access Deck for Booms

Providing more than 3 square foot (0.27 m) of additional work area in the platform, the Genie Lift Tools Access Deck for booms is designed for use on jobsites where operators in a standard boom platform cannot reach their work. To accommodate a variety of operators, this additional deck has a 300-pound (136 kg) capacity.

Genie Lift Tools Access Deck for Scissor Lifts

The Genie Lift Tools Access Deck for scissor lifts provides operators with a secondary surface to elevate them above the platform floor for a productive solution to access hard-to-reach areas. This additional deck has a 225-pound (102 kg) capacity and installs to the inside of the extension deck guardrails on Genie GS-1930 scissor lift platforms.
