Efficient and reliable, the M57 Utility delivers 210 cfm at 100 psig and is equipped with a sound attenuating enclosure. A high-capacity, cold-start battery and large 28-gallon fuel tank ensure reliable operation in severe working conditions and provide extended operation — up to 10 full hours. What’s more, the M57 Utility’s heavy duty, 4-cylinder diesel engine combined with the company’s energy saving Sigma Profile airend produces more air with less horsepower and complies with Tier-3 EPA emissions standards. Optional features include an after-cooler package and five-year airend warranty.

RER: What are the benefits of the M57 Mobilair utility portable compressor? How does the unit make jobs more effective and efficient for rental professionals and their contractor customers?

RER: Describe the development process of the M57 Mobilair utility portable compressor. Where did the idea come from and who was responsible for its engineering and development?
Chartters: Gary Mueller, our district sales manager Mobilair, was instrumental in bringing to light the need for Kaeser to develop this type of unit. Harold Wagner, our national sales manager and the Mobilair national sales team then developed the design criteria and specifications. We sent that feedback to our engineering team in Coburg, Germany to develop a model to meet the needs of this market.
Sutton: The M57 Utility is the result of efforts from many – including our district sales manager Mobilair, Gary Mueller, the U.S. Mobilair national sales team with the leadership of Harold Wagner and our engineering team in Coburg, Germany. Everyone involved in the M57 Utility development process worked very hard – and we believe our work shows in the product.
