Attendees at the 2024 ARA Show in New Orleans will have a chance to put their physical and mental toughness to the test — and the individual who can outlast their competitors will take home a Genie GTH-5519.

Genie’s GTH Grand Giveaway Endurance Contest will kick off at 12:30 p.m. (local time) on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, when 14 competitors will take their places around a Genie telehandler. From there, it’s a test of endurance. Competitors will rack up time by standing on their podiums. The individual who stands on a podium for the longest amount of time, between the start of the competition and its conclusion when the ARA Show ends on Wednesday, Feb. 21, will win the telehandler. Genie themed trivia questions will give contestants a chance to add extra minutes to their time totals to even the playing field or pad their lead.

“The machines in our GTH telehandler family are resilient and tough,” said Keith Hovey, head of global marketing for Genie. “So, we thought it would be fun to give ARA attendees a chance to bring home a new telehandler by demonstrating how tough and resilient they can be.”

The initial competitors will be chosen from among the individuals who sign up in the Genie Booth 5339 the morning that the ARA Show opens, between 9:30-11 a.m. The initial 14 competitors will be selected randomly. Replacement competitors are welcome to fill any open spots and use the trivia questions to catch up.

Eligibility requirements apply. Contest details and the full official rules will be available in the Genie booth.
