Volvo Construction Equipment Rents last week announced the opening of Zenders Truck & Equipment, a new independently owned Volvo Rents equipment rental center in metropolitan Bellingham, Wash.
The Ferndale rental center will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.
Volvo Rents began its equipment franchise initiative in 2001. The company now has more than 60 rental centers open in the United States and Canada. The company is also expanding its operations in Europe with rental centers open in Portugal and Spain and has recently signed franchise agreements with a company in Italy.
Asheville, N.C.-based Volvo Rents is No. 16 on the new RER 100.
