MEC Aerial Work Platforms has named Ray Hayles MFG Sales as its new sales representative in Texas and the Southeast.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to increase our presence in a key region that has been historically underrepresented,” said Jim Tolle, president of MEC Aerial Work Platforms. “The Ray Hayles organization has a solid track record and is well known and respected for outstanding customer service.”
Ray Hayles MFG Sales represents various manufactures in eight states — Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. The move is strategic for both companies as MEC has announced its intention to enter the self-propelled boomlift market this year and the Hayles company has relationships with many rental companies in the region.
“We have been looking to represent a full-line scissorlift manufacturer for several years and MEC provides the most comprehensive range of high-quality, U.S.-manufactured scissorlifts available in North America,” said Ray Hayles III. “We are also representing the MEC telehandler line and look forward to tremendous opportunities with MEC’s future self-propelled boom products as well.”
MEC is based in Selma, Calif.
