Sullivan-Palatek Signs On With SmartEquip

Sullivan-Palatek, a leading manufacturer of direct drive rotary screw air compressors last week announced that it has selected SmartEquip’s e-CommercePro and e-FleetPro Web-based electronic parts and service support systems for its portable air compressor division dealers and fleet customers.

e-CommercePro and e-FleetPro provide a single source for parts and service support, including intelligent electronic parts catalogs, easily accessed operator manuals, troubleshooting guides, safety notices, and equipment specifications, including electronic parts ordering. Rental companies using e-FleetPro can view local parts inventory and generate orders electronically, integrated to their rental management systems.

“[SmartEquip] is a key part of our support program for stocking dealers and fleet operators like NationsRent and Caterpillar,” said John Clayton, Sullivan Industries vice president, sales and marketing.

Sullivan-Palatek recently appointed NationsRent as an authorized dealer for its portable air compressor division for Texas and Louisiana. NationsRent will use SmartEquip’s e-FleetPro to provide factory-authorized sales, service, parts and technical assistance at its dealerships as well as maintain and support its own rental fleet of Sullivan air compressors.
