Christopher Jones, chief financial officer for Durante Rentals, was named 2013 Small Business CFO of the Year by the Westchester Business Journal, Westchester, N.Y.
Jones was one of the three co-founders of Durante Rentals and has played an integral role in the company’s dramatic growth.
Durante Rentals, with branches in Bronx, Queens (Flushing), and Westchester (Mount Vernon), N.Y., was listed on Inc. magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The company, founded in 2009, is ranked No. 1,879, and No. 61 in the construction industry.
Inc. bases its ranking on revenue growth from 2009 to 2012. Durante Rentals posted $1.6 million in revenue in 2009, its first year in existence. Durante tripled that number in 2012, with $4.8 million in revenue. Durante added 18 jobs in the period, growing from seven employees to 25.
