Aerial Work Platform Pioneer Steve Seiders Dies

Steve Seiders, a pioneer of the aerial industry, died yesterday. Seiders worked closely in research and development with John L. Grove, founder of Grove Worldwide and JLG Industries, considered the creator of the modern aerial work platform. Seiders worked with NES Rentals, directing its remanufacturing facilities and worked for numerous years with Mesa, Ariz.-based Acme Lift Co.

Seiders was a widely liked and respected professional in the aerial work platform rental industry.
