Updated to be more user friendly, The Rental Show's home page has a new look and new features to make navigation and registration easier for site visitors. The website,, provides 2007 show information and online registration. A video message from ARA CEO Chris Wehrman provides an overview of the show's offerings. The registration area allows attendees to register online and gives visitors information on registration packages and deadlines. Visitors can use the exhibitor locator to search for companies and view virtual booths that can be customized by the exhibitor with product information and photos. The Rental Show 2007 will be held Feb. 7-10 in Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center.

DLoG Logistics' MPC 6 vehicle-mounted computer is fanless and rugged, making it workable as a touch-screen PC for indoor and outdoor vehicles, including forklifts and construction machinery. Laser Technology

Bringing technology to the jobsite, Hilti's new PD 38 laser range meter provides accurate measurements along with the ability to superimpose those measurements on a picture, store them in Pocket Excel or draw scaled line drawings with ease. One-person operation enables the same person to measure, draw and perform geometric calculations, saving time and improving jobsite productivity. The PD 38 is accurate up to 1/16-inch on a single measurement and is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, which enables it to function with compatible PDAs to take and store measurements from up to 32 feet from the tool. Offering image sketching, the PD 38 allows users to show measurements and dimensions directly on a picture then save it in a standard picture format in a few steps.
