Blue Diamond Attachments’ Extreme Duty Road Saws Designed for Trenching Asphalt, Concrete and Rock
Blue Diamond Attachments has introduced its new Extreme Duty Road Saws, rounding out its family of roadwork attachments. This family of attachments includes a line of 12 hydraulic breakers and an Extreme Duty series 2 cold planer, among other attachments offerings.
Designed for trenching asphalt, concrete and rock, the Extreme Duty road saws are available in two models offering 6- to 17-inch or 8- to 24-inch cutting depths. The attachments include saw discs featuring interchangeable tooth plate kits with cutting widths from 2 to 8 inches, along with a hydraulic depth adjustment that allows the operator to raise and lower the blade for consistent cuts. The road saws are intended for use with skid steer loaders offering a maximum of 65 HP and operate at a recommended hydraulic flow of 21 to 42 GPM.
The extreme duty road saws include additional features:
- A hydraulic side shift function of 0 to 18 inches allows for shifting the blade side-to-side from the cab.
- A trench-clearing scraper blade and material flow diverter work together to clear asphalt and debris from the trench, eliminating the need for manual removal.
- A depth gauge provides uniform depth for cut control.
- The Universal Skid Steer Mount makes the road saws compatible with different skid steer brands in the marketplace.
“The extreme duty road saws provide our customers with cleaner, faster and more accurate cuts than traditional methods, along with the flexibility and performance they can rely on for their tough trenching jobs,” said Drew Truan, CEO, Blue Diamond Attachments. “Together with our entire family of road work solutions, customers have attachments built to address multiple challenges in their roadwork applications.”
The Blue Diamond family of attachments for road work all come with the Blue Diamond Satisfaction Guarantee and are backed by a one-year warranty. For more information about the cutter lineup and other innovative Blue Diamond attachments, visit www.bluediamondattachments.com.
