The Bosch Freak combines a 1/4 In. quick-change hex shank holder with Power Groove to secure bits combined with a 1/2 In. square drive impact wrench for sockets. The updated GDX18V-1800C model delivers 1,800 In.-Lbs. of max torque. Bluetooth connection to the free Bosch Toolbox app on a connected device allows usert to customize settings and see detailed feedback.
The optional GCY30-4 Connectivity Tool Module must be installed to use the app. The Bosch Performance Control System allows users to adjust tool speed/torque with the push of a button to match the tool to the application. Bosch’s 21700 Lithium-ion cell technology is incorporated in the included Bosch CORE18V 4.0 Ah batteries allowing for greater capacity in a pack that’s only slightly larger than older single-layer batteries.
