High-power grinders

Makita offers a line-up of high-power grinders that are equipped with 10 or more amps for demanding applications, and are suited for professional users including welders, fabricators, plumbers, masons, electricians, stone and tile workers and HVAC. The Model 9564PC (pictured) features SJS technology, which links the motor armature and spiral bevel gear by a coil spring. If the grinding wheel should accidentally catch or bind, the coil spring relaxes and disengages the gears from the motor.
