The heavy-duty Vermeer BC1000XL brush chipper with its all-steel engine enclosure is designed to hold up for the long haul. It is available with either a Tier 4 Final 49-hp (36.4 kW) or a 74-hp (55.4 kW) engine that meets all the latest emission regulations.
The BC1000XL features rubber-torsion suspension for smooth towing, a patented bottom feed stop bar for operator safety, and a four-position upper feed control bar with dual stop, as well as forward/reverse positions. To help minimize maintenance, belts can be changed without tools, and the clutchless PTO system eliminates the need to slide the engine.
