Mi-T-M Expands Portable Heater Line with New Radiant Heater Models for Outdoor Work
Mi-T-M Corp. has expanded its industrial portable heater lineup with two new kerosene radiant heaters designed to deliver dependable, targeted heat for outdoor work environments. The new 70,000 BTU and updated 125,000 BTU radiant heaters give contractors, rental companies, agricultural operations and other professionals more options for staying productive in cold conditions.
The new lineup brings back Mi-T-M’s 125,000 BTU radiant heater in an updated design while introducing a smaller-capacity model for applications that require less heat output. Both models feature a compact design, fully enclosed motor, ultra-quiet fuel pump, electronic controls and an adjustable thermostat with a digital display.
Built for portability and jobsites, these heaters provide clean, quiet, instant radiant heat. Integrated overheat and flame-out safety features, an error indicator light, a contractor-grade fuel cap and an easy-access filter support reliable operation and convenient maintenance.
The 70,000 BTU model offers a compact heating solution with a 2.77-gallon fuel tank and the ability to heat areas up to 1,750 square feet. The 125,000 BTU model provides greater heat output for larger spaces, heating areas up to 3,125 square feet. It also features a 10-gallon fuel tank, two tires for easier mobility and adjustable heat height.
Both heaters are factory-tested for use with kerosene, JP8/Jet A fuel, No. 1 and No. 2 fuel oil, and No. 1 and No. 2 diesel fuel. They operate on standard 115V electrical power and are backed by a one-year warranty.
“Adding the 70,000 BTU model alongside our updated 125,000 BTU radiant heater gives customers more flexibility when choosing portable heat,” said Chris Oberender, product manager at Mi-T-M Corp. “Whether they're working outdoors, on a farm or renting heaters, these models are designed for reliable heat to get the job done.”
Mi-T-M’s radiant heaters are intended for outdoor applications and must be operated with proper ventilation. They are not intended for use in residential living areas or inadequately ventilated spaces.
