The Honda GX50 general-purpose engine expands the company’s Mini-Four Stroke lineup.

The Honda GX50 general-purpose engine expands the company’s Mini-Four Stroke lineup with a model that offers high output and light weight—extending into more demanding commercial and rental applications with excellent fuel efficiency. The new engine, for sale to power equipment OEMs, is quieter and features reduced vibration over a comparable two-stroke engine.

With low emissions and excellent fuel efficiency, the all-new Honda GX50 Mini-Four Stroke engine incorporates an easy-to-start recoil that reduces the pulling force required to start the engine. The GX50 is the first Honda four-stroke model in the two-horsepower class that is 360-degrees inclinable during operation and storage.
