Kohler announces its first diesel engine line for the North American market. A total of seven air-cooled models, ranging from 6.7 to 34.9 hp, and six liquid-cooled models, ranging from 16.8 to 64.4 hp, are available. The Kohler diesel range features both single- and multi-cylinder models, and is emission compliant to the latest EPA and CARB emission requirements.
“Our full range of engines — gas and diesel — now range from 6.7- to 64.4-hp models and we offer both air- and liquid-cooled engines, which can easily be customized to fit many different rental applications,” says Cam Litt, marketing manager for Kohler Engines. “Customers are seeking contemporary diesel technology at a competitive price point that is backed by a far-reaching service network, which Kohler provides.”
The diesel engines offer advanced fuel efficiency and low sound levels, along with a myriad of air intake and oil-filtration options.
