The Rodrunner sectional drain cleaner from General Pipe Cleaners offers a unique two-way operation – either up close or as a walk-behind machine. Designed to be used in almost any location, the lightweight, versatile machine also features high-speed cable rotation and short, quick-coupling cables. The Rodrunner is designed to handle tough clogs in 3-inch to 10-inch lines, as far as 200 feet away.

For close-up work when quarters are tight, Rodrunner can be placed close to the drain opening. By setting the wheel brake and placing the foot pedal next to the machine, users can keep both hands free to control the cable. The guide hose safely contains cable to prevent damage to people and property.

On easier jobs with plenty of working room, users can run the Rodrunner machine “lawn-mower” fashion, by standing behind the machine. By locking the chuck jaws onto the cable, users can spin each cable section into the drain line, making it easier to clear long lines with less effort.

A heavy-duty ¾-hp motor with capacitor and overload protection spins the cable at 700 rpm, the ideal speed for self-feeding cables into lines and protecting against sudden torque build-ups. For additional safety, the Rodrunner includes an adjustable slip clutch.

Sectional cables snap together in seconds and disassemble quickly with a coupling wrench or coupling key. The open-cable coils automatically screw into lines, helping clear stubborn stoppages with less effort.

Cables are also available in a variety of lengths and connectors for General and competing brands. With the “G” connector, no torque is placed on the locking pin when running the machine in reverse, making it a more durable coupling.
