Atlas Copco Power Technique’s RTEX pneumatic breaker

Atlas Copco Power Technique’s RTEX pneumatic breaker uses 50 percent less air than a conventional breaker. This allows the user to downsize on an air compressor or run several of these handheld tools on the existing equipment. The RTEX lineup, which consists of the RTEX 15 and RTEX 25 is lighter than the conventional breaker, but still has more breaking power. The RTEX handles also features stiff handles with vibration values comparable to machines with flexible anti-vibration handles. The units also offers eight hours of uninterrupted operation. The RTEX 15 weighs 37 pounds, consumes 15 liters per second with an impact rate of 936 bpm. The RTEX 25 weighs 55 pounds, consumes 18 liters per second with an impact rate of 870 bpm.
