The Hek Modular System from Alimak Hek is designed to reduce the number of components and maximize exchangeability of components between different machine types. The new mast-climbing transport platform product is broken down into three ranges: light, medium and heavy. Within each range, using three basic components, a series of various machines can be configured consisting of mast-climbing work platforms and transport platforms. All models operate on the same basic components. An Alimak mast and a single drive unit can be assembled to configure either a mast-climbing work platform or a transport platform, thus reducing the initial investment. The system is designed for higher lifting capacity and work platform areas are flexible and can be specified for each individual project.
