The Advance Metalworking Co.

The Lo Riser trailer from The Advance Metal-working Co. features a 74-inch by 14-foot, 8 inch, load-carrying platform that can be hydraulically lowered to ground height. This 12,000-pound capacity inclining platform trailer also offers a built-in ramp allowing for smooth, drive-on access without any crown point for quick loading and unloading of equipment. When lowered, the trailer allows for a minimum 5-degree angle for low ground clearance or reduced gradeability vehicles.

The Landoll 900 series Traveling Tail trailer is available in either 35- or 50-ton capacities and features a simplified, one hydraulic control for three hydraulic operations. This design has no hydraulic lines, hinges or pins behind the tail to contend with or maintain. Available in either tandem or triple axle, the 900 series is offered in 12-, 14- or 15-foot tail lengths. A low load angle (as low as 11 degrees) is possible with the 15-foot tail. Also available is a double drop option, which drops the deck by 8 inches for hauling trailer equipment.

The Terex HFT 70RS rental equipment trailer offers enhanced traction on the ramp, which makes it suitable for loading equipment with tires or in need of additional traction. The main deck on the trailer is 29 feet, 5 inches long and 102 inches wide, along with additional length on the 9-foot gooseneck deck and the 10-foot extended hydraulic ramp. The tail section provides increased ramp length for an easy loading slope with a total length of 14 feet, 6 inches. The folding tail flips out and lowers to the ground and creates a 6-degree break-over angle that allows a wide range of equipment to drive up the ramp and onto the main deck without using a winch.

Up-N-Atom's Retriever transport bed uses the truck's air system instead of hydraulics to power the horizontally stable deck and multi-position, extended ramp. The curved deck creates a shallow loading angle (11 to 14 degrees) for safer loading and eliminates the breakover on tracked equipment. While traveling between stops, the truck's air system fills an 80-gallon pressure tank mounted on the Retriever to 120 psi.

Jerr-Dan introduces the Premium 6-ton carrier bed. The deck's larger, roll-formed rubrails provide increased structural strength, and the weld process ensures a smooth outer surface. The 102-inch-wide deck features a full-length 10-gauge 50 ksi pressed-diamond decking. The carrier bed is available in 19-, 20- and 21-foot lengths.
