Husqvarna Names New Chief Financial Officer

The Husqvarna Group last week announced that Bernt Ingman, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will leave the company. Ulf Liljedahl has been appointed as his replacement and will assume his position June. Liljedahl will report to president and CEO Magnus Yngen and be a member of group management. Ingman, will continue to work for the group until the transition is complete.

Liljedahl most recently held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer at Cardo Group where he was also acting president for the Waste Water Technology Solutions Division during 2009. Prior to Cardo, Liljedahl held various positions within finance at Alfa Laval.

“Ulf Liljedahl is an experienced CFO, with extensive background from listed companies,” said says Yngen. “He also has solid commercial experience from management assignments in companies facing major changes. I extend a warm welcome to Ulf as he joins Husqvarna.”

“During Bernt’s years with Husqvarna, the Group has undergone a major transformation including being listed on the stock exchange as well as carried out major acquisitions,” Yngen said.

The Husqvarna Group is a global producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors.
