The JLG G5-18A super-compact telehandler features a 5,500-pound maximum lifting capacity and 1,850-pound capacity at its fully extended reach of 11 feet. The unit has a 126-inch turning radius, facilitating work in congested areas. The stowed height of the G5-18A is less than 76 inches, making the unit practical for parking garage construction or any application where overhead height restrictions exist. The unit can be configured to accommodate skid-steer attachments.

The hydrostatic transmissions on the dumpers drive through a new drop box and axles, providing clutchless operation. Operators can select the dumpers' directional drive through the steering column-mounted lever. The TA2H and TA2SH use a proven drivetrain combined with a 32.6-hp Tier 4 interim Kubota water-cooled diesel engine. The TA3H and TA35H are powered by a 43.2-hp water-cooled diesel engine. The units come standard with a gas, strut-operated folding ROPS frame, and a plastic leg guard to protect drivers from jobsite debris.

Jescraft's mobile bar cradle cart is designed to move heavy loads of pipe, bars, angles or tubes in shops or around jobsites. Two updated plate compactor attachments from Bobcat — the PCF34 and PCF64 flat-top plate compactor attachments offer enhanced compatibility with Bobcat M-Series excavators making trench restoration safer and more efficient. Mounting changes to the top of the plate, including a bolt-on breaker cap, enhance the excavator capabilities. Applications for the attachments include compacting trenches, footings and slab areas. Genie introduces a package of design enhancements to its GTH-5519 compact rough-terrain telehandler, including a more comfortable cab, increased load capacity at maximum reach, emissions-control options and a more easily accessible engine compartment. The FOPS grid is now integrated into the cabin structure underneath the glass. The floor-mounted throttle pedal has been repositioned to improve comfort. John Deere

The two-speed option to mid-frame 318D (pictured) and 320D skid-steer loader models were developed in response to landscaping and snow-removal contractors' need for faster travel speed across jobsites. The new option increases ground speed by as much as 62 percent on manual and E/H-control machines, from 6.8 to 11 mph. Operators can kick into higher travel speeds with a flip of the toggle switch on the left-hand joystick. The units feature 24-percent larger cabs than their predecessors and six more inches of headroom.
