M&R Rental was established by Harrison Martin and David Reed in Gainesville, Ga., in 1967.
Nathan Crumley purchased the business in the beginning of the economic downfall in December of 2008. Soon after, Nathan’s brothers Don and Will joined him in operating the business.
The company was originally located on Enota Avenue in Gainesville for roughly 50 years but has outgrown its space and recently moved to 2577 Monroe Dr., Gainesville, Ga.
“We’re still offering the same services, we just needed a bigger space,” said Will Crumley. “We couldn’t find an existing location that would serve our needs, so we decided to design and build this new location, and have been very happy with how it turned out.”
M&R Rental is an equipment rental company that caters to large general contractors as well as home owners.
“We offer skid steers, skid steer attachments, telehandlers, boom lifts, excavators and scissor lifts – your general rental equipment,” Crumley explained.
The company primarily serves Gainesville and the surrounding northeast Georgia area, but is hoping to expand to more locations in the not-too-distant future.
The brothers are proud of what the business has become and want their customers to know how much they appreciate them.
“We started in 1967 and hope to be around for a long time to come,” Crumley said.
M&R Rental is open from 7:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and is also open on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. through 12 p.m.
