The move is a step for Altorfer Rents to better serve its long-standing and productive relationships with customers throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

“Our customers are our number one priority, and this move demonstrates our commitment to their success,” said vice president Altorfer Rents Tim Gerken. “We continuously strive to provide rental, parts, service, and sales solutions to keep their jobsites profitable. Our new Naperville facility will increase this exponentially.”

As the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Chicagoland, this new Cat Rental Store will provide a large offering of Caterpillar and construction rental equipment to support a large range of industries.

“Altorfer Rents is a proud Cat Rental Store dealership,” Gerken said. “We are eager to utilize our new facility to uphold the reputation of reliability and efficiency of the Caterpillar brand.”

The Naperville facility is one of 15 Cat Rental Store branches throughout the Altorfer territory of eastern Iowa, northeastern Missouri, northern Illinois, and western Indiana. It joins the more than 1,300 locations throughout the world of the Caterpillar rental network.

This is one of the four new Altorfer locations opening in 2021 in the Chicago metropolitan area, the company said. The others are in Addison, East Dundee, and Mokena.
