Quebec rental company Accès Location + is preparing to open a new branch in the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Industrial Park in Laval, Quebec, in the spring of this year. The acquisition is part of Accès Location+’s growth plan. Requiring an investment of $3 million, the project includes 70,950 square feet of land and a building measuring 13,295 square feet.
The interior space will include offices as well as the mechanics’ workshop with seven garage doors. The branch will possess an inventory of $18 million, the equivalent of more than 350 machines. The company will take over the property in June and then work will be done to make the building operational and built to the company’s brand image.
“This new point of service is a strategic addition to the development of Accès Location+,” said Luc Bertrand, president. “We will serve the areas of Montréal and the North Shore with greater efficiency and will maximize our transport times, which will soon be affected by the planned repairs to the Louis-Hippolyte-La-Fontain Tunnel.”
Upon completion of the project, 20 jobs will be created at the branch, the company said, and will give Accès Location+ a better showcase in the region to better serve clients. Its head office is in Beloeil, Quebec. The company now has a fleet of more than 1,100 machines and is a leader in rental and sales of aerial equipment in the greater Montreal region.
Accès Location+ was named one of Canada’s best managed companies since 2019. It is No. 93 on the RER 100.
