National Trench Safety Relocates Seattle-Area Operation
National Trench Safety LLC, a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, along with trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, announced the relocation of its Seattle-area operation.
NTS has completed its third relocation within the last 30 days with the relocation of its Seattle operation to a larger facility located in Tukwila, Wash. The new location moves the operation much closer to the Seattle metro area while also improving the company’s facilities and outside storage. The company recently relocated to larger facilities in Dania Beach, Fla., near Miami, and Denver.
“We needed to upgrade our Seattle presence, both in overall operational capacity as well as location,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. “We’ve been focused on upgrading the Seattle area facility. However, the Seattle real estate market has proven to be a very tight market over the last couple years. We are extremely excited with this new location and what it will mean for our Seattle team.”
Erik Smith, the company’s Seattle branch manager, has overseen the company’s startup location, as well as its transition to the new location.
“Erik and the Seattle team have done a good job establishing our presence in the market, but clearly needed a location that would improve the branch’s visibility as well as ability to service our customers,” added Chilton. “With this new location, our continued investment to bringing in one of the market’s youngest, most diverse and robust rental fleets and a focus upon continuing to add industry veterans to the team, the Seattle market is well positioned heading into the fourth quarter.”
The new facility features a modern rental office that will allow the Seattle team to serve its markets, as well as a dedicated building for the company’s full-time industry veteran training instructors to conduct OSHA-compliant training courses and a large shop building.
“This is a nice facility,” Chilton said. “The Seattle team is really excited about the new property and what these facilities will mean for the branch and the ability to continue to service our customer needs. As people familiar with the Seattle market know, rain can create operational challenges. The new shop will allow the Seattle team to be able to provide strong service and not be constrained by weather challenges.”
National Trench Safety plans at least one additional relocation before the end of the third quarter of 2020. NTS remains committed to strengthening its market position so that it can continually improve upon the superior customer service and product experience that have become synonymous with NTS.
National Trench Safety operates 34 branch locations in the United States, while also maintaining an international presence with two branch locations in England. This large national footprint allows NTS to provide its national, regional and local market customers a fully integrated, national branch network delivering unique engineered solutions, customer service and cost-effective shoring solutions.
NTS plans to open at least one additional new branch location in 2020 with more to follow in 2021. For more information about NTS, visit the National Trench Safety website at www.ntsafety.com.
