Ring Power Utility Equipment is expanding its footprint by opening a new branch in Temple, Texas, in order to provide a jumping off point to grow its business in the Midwest and on the West Coast.

Temple, situated between Austin and Waco, will be a dedicated equipment, parts and service depot to better serve customers out west. It also gives new account managers the opportunity to grow Ring Power Utility Equipment in new states.

The 9,075-square-foot facility is ready to serve customers with a parts counter, full warehouse, six service bays and a two-acre fenced yard to stage equipment.

“The main motivation for opening this new branch is to expand our territory while also keeping our level of service consistent and to Ring Power standards,” said Mike Beauregard, vice president utility equipment general manager. “We want to position ourselves logistically to serve our customers in the Midwest. It’s also a hotspot for a large volume of work being done over the next few years.”

In Texas alone, transmission line projects are estimated to be approximately $7 billion. The new branch in Texas will be key in helping the division grow in new territories as well as serve those new customers.

The personnel in Ring Power’s Texas facility has a combined 60 years of experience in the utility service arena and are certified by Terex Utilities. The branch is tentatively scheduled for an official open date in September, with operations already in progress.
