Associated Scaffolding Co. has opened a new branch in Charlotte, N.C. This new 30,000-square-foot building will enable the company to provide rental, sales, and installation of scaffolding, swing stages, debris chutes, re-shoring, temporary fencing, and more to the greater Charlotte area.  There is also a full One Stop Safety Shop store for all jobsite supply and safety needs.

Associated Scaffolding Co. was founded in Durham, N.C., in 1947 and originally provided scaffold rentals to local contractors. The company later expanded by adding branches in the cities of Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C., as well as Richmond, Va.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Columbia, S.C., becoming the leader in scaffold rental, sales, and service across the Southeast.

The new Charlotte branch is managed by Jim Holcomb, who has more than 30 years of experience in the scaffold industry and is currently the president of the Scaffold and Access Industry Association, a worldwide organization that leads the advancement and promotion of scaffold safety. Holcomb and his team are looking forward to providing great scaffold rental and installation services throughout the region.
