Peer Executive Groups announced it is expanding its team with Josh Nickell, a 20-year rental industry veteran who will join the board of the consulting agency. Nickell brings longevity and recent experience from multi-million dollar and INC 5000 companies such as Nickell Rental where he was CEO, and Point of Rental, where he was director of global expansion and operations.

With more than 20 years in the rental arena, Josh brings industry history and foreknowledge for technological advances to give Peer Group members better access to data, technology, and overall Key Performance Indicators. Nickell comes aboard PEG to support the group’s nationwide operations and elevate opportunities to the next level of service for rental companies, equipment dealers, and business manufacturers.

“The rental industry is changing and growing at rapid speed, so who better to bring on board than Josh Nickell,” said PEG founder and CEO Dan Crowley.  “His experience in the rental industry has proven that he knows how to accelerate growth, incorporate leading technology, and facilitate effective scaling strategies for companies. These qualifications allow Josh to fit right in with our mission at PEG.”

“Having been a customer of PEG, I know firsthand how influential this company has been for the industry,” said Nickell. “ I am excited to work with the team here and for the opportunity to help other rental companies move forward with innovative ideas and advances in technology that will allow access to better benchmarking and KPI analytics that they can see in near real time and act upon.”

Nickell has served with the ARA of Georgia for eight years in many roles, including president. He was the Director of the National Rental Show Task Force and a member of the ARA National Branding Committee. Under his leadership with Nickell Rental, the company landed on the Inc 5000 list for four years in a row. He also grew global operations at Point of Rental, another Inc. 5000 company that focused on technology in the rental industry.

Peer Executive Groups is a partner of the American Rental Association and provides Peer Advisory Group solutions and support to the ARA Financial Planning and Analysis Report data collection and review process.  Peer Executive Groups facilitates 21 groups and has over 200 attendees at their twice-annual meetings.
