    Atlantic Lift Systems Opens Hampton, Va., Branch

    Atlantic Lift Systems, one of the largest independent and family owned equipment rental companies in Virginia, has opened its doors to a new branch in Hampton, Va., the company’s third.

    Atlantic Lift Systems, one of the largest independent and family owned equipment rental companies in Virginia, has opened its doors to a new branch in Hampton, Va., the company’s third. The new Hampton facility, with 21,750 square feet, includes an indoor service shop, a showroom, and offices; with an additional 4.4 acres of land for their growing fleet of rental equipment. The branch is located in the Copeland Industrial Park, right off exit 3 of Interstate 664 for easy access and ample parking.

     “This gives Atlantic Lift Systems the opportunity to better serve our clients on this side of the water, said Rick Kidd, peninsula territory manager for Atlantic Lift Systems. “The added space and the new showroom allow clients to stop in the branch to pick up equipment.” In addition to renting aerial lift and material handling equipment, clients can rent or purchase a variety of compaction equipment, pumps, generators, air compressors, light towers and more.

    With the size and capabilities of this new location, Allan Haynsworth, president and owner of Atlantic Lift Systems has been aggressively growing his fleet of rental equipment to better serve clients with the equipment they need, when they need it.

    “Everything revolves around the client and without them we don’t exist,” Haynsworth said. “This facility allows us to serve our clients in a new capacity.” He added that with a variety of aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, and general construction equipment, this branch is ready to serve the local contractors, municipalities and businesses of the peninsula more quickly.

    “We knew this location would be a great fit for us,” Haynsworth added. “The new facility is a connector between our Norfolk and Richmond branches. This effectively strengthens our service capabilities, making us more responsive to the growing needs of our client base.” With a branch in Richmond and the company’s headquarters located in Norfolk, this expansion is part of Atlantic Lift Systems’ geographic growth and continued effort to be the best client-focused rental operation in the region.
