Cummins Power Generation brings three certified mobile generator sets—the C150D2RE, the C200D2RE, and the C275D2RE—which all are based on the company’s Tier 4 Final QSB7 and QSL9 engine platforms, to the rental market. The sets feature a combination of in-cylinder engine improvements, exhaust gas recirculation, selective catalytic reduction exhaust after treatment and diesel oxidation catalyst. The in-cylinder combustion improvements were designed to alleviate the need for a diesel particulate filter to meet new air quality standards.

The new mobile sets are 4-5 percent more fuel efficient scasx and offer longer running times than previous models, according to Cummins. They feature switchable 60/50Hz dual frequency operation and come equipped with the new PowerCommand 3.3 controller with both paralleling and advanced master-less load demand capabilities.
