The new Terex TA2H, TA2SH, TA3H and TA3SH site dumpers are designed with narrower dimensions and a tighter turning radius for enhanced maneuverability to work efficiently in tight places. The site dumpers feature all-high-strength-steel construction with a reinforced skip for tough rental applications.

The new hydrostatic transmissions on these Terex dumpers drive through a new drop box and axles, providing smooth, clutchless operation. Operators can now select the dumpers' directional drive through the steering-column-mounted level for enhanced ease of use.

“The hydrostatic machines are well suited to the rental market because they are simple to operate,” says Tom Reith, product manager, Terex Construction Americas. “Hydrostatic units have a forward and reverse directional switch and two-speed drive switch. Operators simply select a direction and speed setting, and then apply the accelerator pedal to start moving material.”

The new TA2H and TA2SH both use a 32.6-hp EPA interim Tier-4-compliant Kubota water-cooled diesel engine and feature a 1.57-cubic-yard heaped skip capacity. The TA3H and TA3SH models are equipped with a 43.2-hp water-cooled diesel engine. The TA3H features a 2.55-cubic-yard heaped skip capacity and the TA3SH features a 2.45-cubic-yard heaped skip capacity.

“Terex hydrostatic site dumpers can be easily matched with skid steers, compact track loaders or wheel loaders, as well as loader backhoes or excavators to quickly load jobsite materials for transfer,” Reith says. “This significantly reduces material movement cycle times and jobsite cleanup, maximizing production on the jobsite and resulting in a higher return on investment.”
