Key Highlights

  • CK Power introduced new generator products and highlighted its St. Louis manufacturing hub and aftermarket support services.
  • The company brought its five divisions together under one booth, drawing steady traffic and generating new business leads throughout the show.
  • Terramac debuted its new wheeled dumper line and sold an RT14R unit directly off the show floor to Western States Cat.

The CK Power Family of Companies returned from this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show with what leaders described as record engagement and a stronger sense of momentum.

For the first time, all five divisions, CK Power, Terramac, Hayes Manufacturing, Consolidated Machine and Welding, and Rocky Mountain Powertrain, shared a single booth. The combined exhibit was designed to show how the companies work together across manufacturing, equipment distribution and aftermarket support.

“This was a defining moment,” said JJ Costello, CK Power Family of Companies co-CEO, in a news release. “Bringing all of our divisions together allowed us to tell a bigger story, one centered on delivering complete, end-to-end solutions for our customers.”

New Generator Products on Display

CK Power used the show to introduce two new generator products. One was the 2G DR aura 412, a 530kWe single-engine natural gas prime power generator set designed for remote job sites and areas with access to natural gas. The company says the unit is built to offer improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions and dependable performance.

The company also unveiled the CKG75TJDM5, a 60-70kW mobile generator prototype powered by the latest John Deere JD4 engine.

“CK Power’s prototype is an impressive demonstration of both engineering and manufacturing excellence,” said Juan Ledesma, account manager at John Deere Power Systems. “As the first OEM to deploy the John Deere JD4 engine in a generator application, they have distinguished themselves not only as a leading distributor, but also as a highly capable industrial manufacturer.”

Strong Turnout Throughout the Show

Company officials said traffic at the booth stayed busy from the start of the show through teardown. A customer appreciation happy hour also drew a large crowd, giving employees a chance to reconnect with long-time partners and meet potential new customers.

Leaders said the event was successful on several fronts. Each division generated new leads, customers learned about services offered across the broader organization, and teams strengthened internal collaboration by exhibiting side by side.

Terramac Unveils New Dumper Line

Terramac introduced its wheeled dumper line at the show for the first time. The D14XL Wheeled Dumper, equipped with a 3,000-gallon water tank, drew attention from contractors representing a variety of applications. The company said interest at the booth has already led to a growing list of equipment demonstrations planned for the coming months.

Another machine on display, the RT14R, was sold directly from the show floor and delivered to Western States Cat. According to the company, it marks Terramac’s first Caterpillar dealer placement and could open the door to additional opportunities within that network.

Emphasis on U.S.-Based Manufacturing

Representatives also highlighted the company’s manufacturing hub in St. Louis, where Terramac equipment and CK Power generator sets are produced. Centralizing production, they said, helps maintain quality control and improve turnaround times. The group also promotes its contract manufacturing services and aftermarket support for customers with complex equipment needs.

Looking ahead, company leaders say the energy from the show is carrying into the rest of the year.

“We’re incredibly proud of what we accomplished at Conexpo,” Costello added. “But even more exciting is what comes next, the relationships we’ve built, the doors we’ve opened, and the opportunities we’re ready to pursue.”

Founded in 1929, the CK Power Family of Companies operates across five divisions, serving customers in construction and other industrial markets.
