Hitachi Global Air Power US LLC, an industry leader in innovative compressed air solutions, is donating a custom-designed Sullair 185 Tier 4 Final Portable Air Compressor to the American Rental Association Foundation Charity Auction held during the 2026 ARA Show. Also, the company will make a separate $10,000 charitable donation to Humane World for Animals in support of animal protection.

“It’s become a tradition to donate a one-of-a-kind air compressor to the ARA Foundation and to tie it to an impactful cause that’s meaningful to our colleagues,” said Todd Rozar, vice president of portable sales at Hitachi Global Air Power. “This year in particular marks a significant milestone, as we celebrate 50 years as an associate member of the ARA. This coincides with the ARA Foundation’s own 50th anniversary, and we are proud to continue our long-standing support of the equipment rental industry.”

ARA Foundation Charity Auction

As part of the ARA Show in Orlando, Florida, the ARA Foundation Charity Auction will be held on March 1. This marks the eighth year Hitachi Global Air Power has donated a Sullair portable compressor to the auction, with past canopy themes including Wounded Warrior Project in support of wounded veterans, their families, and caregivers, a pink compressor for breast cancer awareness, and a “heart of gold” design for the American Heart Association.

To date, Hitachi Global Air Power’s contributions have raised more than $155,000 for the ARA Foundation Charity Auction and an additional $50,000 for outside charities that inspired the designs of the donated compressors.

Supporting Humane World for Animals

The theme of the donated Sullair 185 air compressor is in support of Humane World for Animals, formerly called the Humane Society of the United States. Paw prints and photos of pets and animals shared by Hitachi Global Air Power employees were integrated into the design, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and cows. The compressor also features signatures and hand-written messages of support from employees, added during a special signing event held at the company’s manufacturing facility.

Hitachi Global Air Power will present a $10,000 contribution to Humane World for Animals in February 2026. The donation supports the organization’s mission to tackle the root causes of animal cruelty and suffering to create permanent change where no animal suffers.

Steve McVeigh, vice president of business development and corporate relations for Humane World for Animals, said, “We thank Hitachi Global Air Power for supporting our global work to drive meaningful progress toward a more humane world everywhere.”
