Kaeser Compressors

Kaeser's Mobilair M15 and M17 models combine Kaeser's proprietary Sigma Profile airend with an industrial Honda gasoline engine. The units produce 50 to 60 scfm at 100 psig with variable pressures from 70 to 190 psig available. The units come in a dent- and temperature-resistant molded polymer shell, mounted on wheels with hinged handle bars to facilitate maneuverability. Vibration isolator pads absorb shock from the engine and airend, ensuring quiet operation. Other features include an electric starter and an air-cooled oil cooler with cooling air circulation fan. The units are designed for rental, landscaping, sandblasting, repair trucks and off-site applications.

Doosan Infracore Portable Power

The Ingersoll Rand AirSource and AirSource Plus portable rotary-screw air compressors from Doosan Infracore Portable Power offer 160 cfm at 100 psi, running off a 49-hp Ingersoll Rand diesel engine with an 8-hour runtime. The unit weights 1,850 pounds and has two service air ports for multi-tool use. The AirSource Plus is a 185 cfm unit at 100 psi, with a 62.4-hp IR engine or a 65-hp John Deere diesel engine. A cool-box design enables cool air to enter the rear of the compressor and wash over internal components. A remote separator element eliminates the need to disassemble the separator tank during routine maintenance and prevents spillage during oil changes.

Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco's ZR Series of water-cooled, oil-free air compressors with built-in energy recovery systems are TUV-certified for net zero energy consumption. While the unit compresses air, the input electrical energy is converted into heat, which appears at the compression elements, the oil cooler, intercooler and aftercooler. The built-in energy recovery system circulates cooling water through all of these components and yields hot water at up to 90 degrees Celsius.

Jenny Products

Jenny Products offers a line of K-series electric wheeled portable compressors, featuring the “K” pump, a heavy-duty, single-stage cast-iron compressor pump. The series consists of three different horsepowers — 1, 1.5 and 2 — and four basic air tank configurations: 8, 15, 17 and 30 gallons. Splash lubrication offers contractor-duty protection of the pistons, crankshaft, bearings, rings and cylinders. The units are belt-driven with a large flywheel for easy start-up and extra cooling, and a directional air shroud helps reduce pump temperatures. Other features include an enclosed belt guard, protective mounted fittings, stainless-steel braided discharge hose and a large-canister intake filter with replaceable filter elements.
