VMAC’s new 5-in-1 Multifunction Power System, powered by a Honda gas engine, has debuted at The Utility Expo 2023. The 5-in-1 Multifunction includes a 40 CFM rotary screw air compressor, an 8 kW generator, a 250 amp welder, a 300 amp battery booster, and a 12 and 24V battery charger.
“VMAC believes that every new product should offer customers significant value beyond what’s currently available on the market,” said Gordon Duval, VMAC’s vice president of sales & marketing. “After hearing requests from our dealers and customers for a multi-power system with a gas engine that addresses shortfalls with existing product offerings in the market, VMAC has launched a Multifunction Power System that has been design engineered to be 56 percent quieter, 33 percent more powerful, and 56 percent lighter than competitive multi-power systems.”
VMA said its 5-in-1 Multifunction Power System particularly impressed attendees at The Utility Expo with its quiet operation. Emitting only 58 dB at low idle and 73 dB at high idle, VMAC’s multi-power system helps reduce noise levels on the job site to improve communication and protect hearing.
“Our dealers and customers have given us positive feedback on the system, and they’re excited about how quiet it is in all operations, thanks to our engineered noise reduction panels, automated idle controls, and standby mode,” noted Mike Pettigrew, VMAC’s marketing manager. “The VMAC 5-in-1 multifunction produces 40 CFM at 100-percent duty cycle and weighs only 500 pounds. When specking out a work truck, these details matter to our customers, as they can get the power they need while reducing GVW and freeing up payload for other tools and equipment.”
VMAC’s 5-in-1 multifunction power system, powered by Honda, is now available to order from VMAC authorized dealers across North America and includes everything needed for heavy duty mechanical work. It’s engineered for service truck bodies to fit on the side pack or behind the cab.
