Art Droege has resigned as president of Rental Service Corp., CEO Freek Nijdam announced. Droege will continue to work on special projects for Atlas Copco, RSC’s parent company. The resignation went into effect April 1.
Nijdam, who was recently appointed CEO of RSC, said he will take over the duties of the president in addition to his CEO responsibilities. “This opportunity requires me to step into all areas of the business and fully understand and evaluate where we are and how my experience with Atlas Copco will best benefit the customer,” Nijdam said. “This situation provides me with the opportunity to make a solid contribution right from the start.”
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based RSC is No. 2 on the RER 100.
