Salt Lake City-based Diamond Rental recently opened three branches: downtown Salt Lake City, Park City, Utah, and Boise, Idaho.
The Diamond staff felt the downtown Salt Lake City area had been underserved.
“There is a large population base between the Avenues, Rose Park, Glendale and Sugarhouse and we want to provide these neighborhoods with our services,” said Leonard Sedillo, general manager of Diamond’s tool and equipment division. “Commercial and industrial customers in the downtown area have not had a convenient source of rental solutions prior to our new downtown location.”
Diamond, which now has 10 full-service tool and equipment rental centers in northern Utah, opened in Park City for the first time. “Summit County is one of Utah’s fastest growing areas,” Sedillo said.
The new Boise branch is a tent and convention services and party rental branch, allowing Diamond to expand services in those areas where it already has a customer base. Diamond acquired Boise’s Ambassador Convention Services.
Diamond Rental president Mark Clawson said the company continues to actively seek expansion opportunities through both additional acquisitions and start-ups. “We see a great deal of opportunity throughout the entire Intermountain West,” Clawson said. “Diamond Rental has become a strong regional company and we plan to continue the company’s growth.”
Diamond, No. 91 on the RER 100, now has 10 tool rental and three tent and event rental locations.
