Overland Rentals last week announced its wholly owned subsidiary Point-of-Rental Systems installed its 500th rental management system at Clarkstown Equipment Rentals, Spring Valley, N.Y.

Overland Rentals started business in 1982 with a single general rental store. It soon became obvious that a counter computer system was necessary to manage the business. The owners developed the first Point-of-Rental system in 1983.

Today Point-of-Rental Systems, available in single screen, multi-user and multi-store configurations are installed at equipment and party rental stores in 44 states and South Africa.
