Ford Considers Sale of HERC

Ford Motor Co. and Hertz announced today that they are evaluation the sale or partial disposition of Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hertz Corp. Ford has retained J.P. Morgan to assist with this evaluation.

Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC is No. 3 on the RER 100. In addition to North America, HERC is one of Europe’s largest rental companies, operating primarily in France and Spain.
