Rental Equipment Investment Corp., through its wholly owned subsidiary RE Investment Company LLC, has opened a new specialty equipment rental location in Murray, Utah. REIC also announced certain senior management promotions. REIC now has 31 locations across eight states.

REIC opened a new Construction Heaters Inc. (CHI) location in Murray.

“This is the first greenfield location we have opened for our specialty rental division,” said Kevin Fitzgerald, REIC’s CEO.  “The new Utah location will be the fourth standalone CHI location that REIC now operates. As with the others CHI locations, this new location will focus on the rental of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units. We plan to continue to open new CHI locations across the country, some of which will be stand-alone HVAC rental locations, and some will be in combination with our general rental store expansion.”

Fitzgerald announced several personnel promotions. “To better manage our growth, I am happy to announce certain promotions within REIC,” he said. “Namely, Dustin Guilbert has been promoted to executive vice president, where he will oversee all of REIC’s store operations and work more closely on the execution of our growth strategy. Craig Diefenderfer has been promoted to senior vice president of operations in charge of our general rental locations. Shawn Mack has been named senior vice president in charge of our Specialty Rental Division; Dallin Mortimer has been named vice president in charge of fleet management, and Derek Curry has been promoted to vice president of operations – Region 1 (our Montana stores).”

Headquartered in Miami Beach, Fla., REIC has 31 branches in eight states across the Pacific Northwest and Inter-Mountain regions, and is No. 41 on the RER 100.
