CNH Industrial Revenues Flat in Third Quarter

CNH Industrial recently announced consolidated third quarter revenues of $6.686 billion for the third quarter of 2018, flat compared to the third quarter a year ago.

CNH Industrial recently announced consolidated third quarter revenues of $6.686 billion for the third quarter of 2018, flat compared to the third quarter a year ago. Net sales of the Industrial Activities Division were $6.245 billion, also flat year over year. Net income, was $231 million, nearly quadrupling from $60 million for the third quarter of 2017. Construction equipment sales were $726 million, compared to $618 million in the third quarter of 2017, a 17.5-percent jump.

Sales of commercial vehicles declined 6.6 percent and powertrain sales dropped 9.5 percent.

Despite increasing uncertainties related to the trade policy environment and raw material inflationary headwinds, together with foreign exchange volatility in the emerging economies, CNH Industrial is confirming its guidance for the year, expecting net sales of Industrial Activities of approximately $28 billion.
