United Rentals Schedules 3Q06 Conference Call and Webcast

United Rentals will hold its quarterly conference call with Wayland Hicks, CEO, Martin Welch, chief financial officer, and Michael Kneeland, executive vice president-operations, on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

The conference call is available by audio webcast at unitedrentals.com, where it will be archived.

The third quarter press release will be available on the United Rentals website at unitedrentals.com after the close of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
