For the third-quarter 2006, Haulotte Group, Europe's biggest maker of aerial work platforms, recorded consolidated sales of U.S. $138.2 million, increasing by $107.1 million over the year-earlier period. This brings the nine-month total to $437.9 million, up 27percent over last year’s $345.8 million. The sales breakdown by region and business segment remained broadly stable compared to last year.
The company confirmed its annual guidance of 30 to 35 percent sales growth and profitability of about 11 percent, based on orders by the end of September, which continued to increase by 50 percent, and sustained sales forecast growth in Q4.
Haulotte shares rose 79 cents, or 3.7 percent, to $17.36.
