Skyjack to Manufacture SJ85 AJ Articulating Booms in Hungary
Skyjack is expanding the manufacturing of its SJ85 AJ rough terrain articulating boom to its manufacturing facility in Orosháza, Hungary. This expanded manufacturing will harness the skillset of Skyjack’s OROS team to better serve customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
“Skyjack is efficiently and effectively serving global customers using a bolstered regional structure that shortens the supply chain with localized product development,” said Skyjack President Charlie Patterson. “Our team in Hungary is eager to seize this opportunity to replicate the outstanding work being done by our build team in Ramos, Mexico, to produce our largest articulating boom, the SJ85 AJ, and continue to deliver outstanding customer support. It is an exciting time for Skyjack and our global customers.”
Skyjack’s OROS team is currently building a range of diesel, electric, and hybrid articulating booms, and diesel and electric rough terrain scissor lifts. While the SJ85 AJ has been available internationally for some time, produced at Skyjack’s manufacturing facility in Ramos, Mexico, Skyjack’s localization strategy and manufacturing expansion to Orosháza will ensure this popular and durable rough terrain articulating boom can support more jobsites around the globe.
